From the Kitchen of Katie Niklas

3 eggs well beaten
1 C raisins
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. shortening
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
1 C. flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 C oatmeal
(optional: ½ C white chips)

Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla and let stand for 1 hour
Cream shortening and sugars. Sift dry ingredients then blend in egg raisin mixture.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 min.
