MOM'S (Nani’s) GOULASH

1 (16oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 pound hamburger
tomato
juice (I use V-8 and add button mushrooms just to give her grief)
1 small bag salad macaroni (about ½ the length
of regular macaroni and not curved)
Bread crumbs
butter
1 clove garlic
Brown hamburger and drain.
Add chopped green pepper, onion, and cooked pasta. Put in an ovenproof bowl.
Add enough tomato juice to
just cover mixture, top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
Bake at 325° for an hour.
